There are few things more relaxing than being by the water. I love the breeze, the smell, and most importantly the people watching. (Seriously, is there anything more enjoyable?) Sunday is probably the best day for this as you try to get some last minute R&R and regroup for the coming week. Every time I get near the ocean all I can think is, “I should really do this more often.” Coming from the midwest I really appreciate any and all beach/sea side activity. It can be so easy to get lost in the grind of your day to day routine and forget to appreciate where you are.

This outfit is one part dressed up one part casual. I rarely have any middle ground between the two so this is a nice change of pace. This would be a great outfit for touristing/traveling as it is very easy to take from day to night (especially if you throw some sandals in your bag.) An oversized chambray shirt is perfect for keeping things casual, but also nice to have on deck in case you get chilly. I am super obsessed with moto jeggings right now and these are SUCH a find. I had just decided that my fall colors were paprika, olive, and berry/wine, when I stumbled across these. They are comfy AF but still can be dressed up. I couldn’t link them directly, but they come in a variety of colors and you can get them at ViciCollection.com. It’s a super adorable boutique in Newport. A huge weekender bag is another travel necessity since you will be toting all kinds of things around, and probably buying souvenirs. Who doesn’t love a good souvenir!?

I generally gravitate toward black, so when I picked these shades I gave myself a little pat on the back. They’re perfect for fall and a nice neutral alternative to my usual. Sunglasses are difficult for me to shop for because my eyebrows are big, dark, and over powering, but these worked out perfectly. You will probably see me wearing them a lot all season. I can’t recommend stepping outside your comfort zone on sunglasses enough. Sunnies are such an easy way to change up your wardrobe and can elevate any look.

Got to go as I am running late! (What else is new?) As always, thanks for coming and hanging out with me! Leave your travel necessities in the comments below as I am going on a trip this weekend and could use help packing! :)
